The nation’s “food conscience”, Michael Pollan, delivered his usual thought-provoking lecture at Symphony Hall last evening. We’ve caught the man before - he’s highly engaging and speaks with candid authority. Pollan’s strong point of view is both refreshing and surprisingly non-combative (stick to the facts).
Among the interesting nuggets he ticked off, when MacDonald’s first opened, their sole beverage serving size was 7 oz. Today a small is 16 oz. Which begs the question, why have wineries been so slow to “adapt”?….
