It's not often that we taste a range of Pinots from one winemaker that get us this excited.  Stephen Goff was formerly the assistant winemaker to our old friend Mike Etzel at the venerable Beaux Frères Winery.  Let's just say he learned a great deal from the master.  All of the wines showcase the real beauty of 'cool climate' winegrowing.  Balanced and elegant, all share an incredible purity of fruit, lovely perfume, and the silky texture that we all know is a hallmark of the Willamette Valley.

2015 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

The 'entry-level' bottling is what really caught our attention.  The reviews from those of you lucky enough to have already sampled this have been 100% positive. Bright, charming red fruit character with hints of earth and spice.  Beautiful lines.  Perfect fall wine for grilled salmon.

2014 Shea Vineyard

Of course any producer lucky enough to source some fruit from Dick Shea knows the potential of those vines. A slightly more powerful style, with deeper, darker fruit with lovely high tone aromatics.  Excellent length and structure.  Drinks well now, but will improve over the next decade.

2014 Weber Vineyard

From the Dundee Hills AVA, this site has thirty year old vines planted in Volcanic soil.  The fruit makes for a subtle, nuanced expression in a delicate framework.  Gorgeous, with a seductive red fruited perfume.  What Phil would describe as "finely etched". A truly elegant style.
